About me

I'm Selmar. My story begins with an iMac G5 that my father gave me over twenty years ago. I was immediately sold on Apple and built my first website on that Mac, using Joomla. Later, I discovered WordPress. More websites followed, more ideas and, honestly, quite a few Macs too.

These days, I build websites and webshops for people and businesses. Where I used to create databases and install everything manually, modern tools and AI now help me develop ideas faster and faster. From an initial concept to a professional website that can grow along with you. What a revolution to witness up close.

That curiosity still drives me. I explore new possibilities, look critically at every detail and keep refining a design until everything feels right. I also like to keep the process clear and personal: direct communication, well-considered choices and a result that fits the people behind the idea.

When the MacBook closes, you'll often find me on the cable at the wakeboard park in Sneek. Out on the water for a while, clearing my head.
